I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, burnout, grief, trauma, and the big and small transitions that come with being human. My approach is compassionate, curious, and non-judgmental. I see you as the expert on your own experience, my role is to offer a safe, affirming space and to help you build the insight and skills to navigate what's in front of you.
Before opening my practice, I worked as a medical social worker at Cook Children's Medical Center, spending most of that time in the cardiac intensive care and step-down units before moving to the palliative care team. I sat with families through critical illness, complex chronic conditions, and end-of-life concerns, helped them navigate confusing healthcare systems, and learned, again and again, that healing isn't linear. That work profoundly shaped how I show up in the therapy room.
I have a special interest in supporting neurodivergent adults, including those who were diagnosed later in life, and in how our circumstances and environments shape our mental health.
Outside of work, I'm usually listening to an audiobook while crafting, spending time with my husband and cats, or getting overly invested in a cozy video game. I love stories, curiosity, and losing track of time while exploring a new idea or hobby. I also believe that humor has a place in most things, including therapy, and that we're often more alive than we realize.
